What does it cost?
Photo sorting starts at €0.01 per photo: 3,000 photos cost €30 and 5,000 cost €50 at that rate. Ask for a quote for your volume. Your first event is free; tell us your file mix and volume to confirm the setup and measure the workflow on your own photographs. Time saved and sales depend on your event.
Do I need the race number or plate to be visible?
No. Rider and vehicle signatures help connect photographs across the event without a readable number. A visible number can help name a group. Review uncertain matches and split groups before delivery.
Is it cloud or local, and where do my photos end up?
The desktop app prepares lightweight previews for cloud analysis while your originals stay on your disk. Review and correct the groups, then save ordinary local folders by rider or vehicle for editing and delivery.
Do you support RAW?
Yes. Supported RAW extensions include Canon CR2/CR3, Nikon NEF, Sony ARW, Fujifilm RAF and DNG, alongside JPEG. Include your camera and format when planning your first event.
Does sorting change or recompress my files?
Sorting leaves your originals at their existing size and quality. Continue editing and prepare the gallery files you want customers to receive; the Lightroom Classic plugin uploads finished JPEGs.
What about video?
RaceLabs accepts MP4, MOV, AVI and MKV and creates per-rider clips alongside the photographs. Review the clips and assignments before preparing the delivery.
How fast is it?
Total time depends on the number and format of your files, your connection and the review needed. Measure preparation, upload, analysis, corrections and export on your free first event.
Can I fix the ones it gets wrong?
Yes. Review the rider groups and images in the Unclear bin. You can merge, split, rename and reassign before editing and delivery.
Does it work with my Lightroom edits?
Yes. Continue editing in Lightroom. The RaceLabs Lightroom Classic export plugin uploads your finished JPEGs into the event, ready for the next publishing step.
How big an event can it handle?
Tell us your file count, formats and event structure so we can plan a suitable trial. The June 2026 rider benchmark contains 6,505 photographs; it is an evaluation sample, not an event-size limit or a cumulative processing total.
Is it private, and where is my data?
Your originals remain on your disk during sorting, and previews are sent for analysis. Save the reviewed groups as local folders. Read the privacy notice for data handling and the information that applies to your service.
