The RaceLabs workflow / From shoot to sale

How RaceLabs
works.

RaceLabs connects motorsport photo sorting, your editing tools and your own website to sell photos and videos. Prepare the event in the app, then publish it on a photographer website that carries your brand.

For photographers covering motorcycles, cars and karts, that means a route from a full event to organised collections, photo and video sales, and customer downloads.

Counts describe published gallery listings, not unique original files, people, sales, storage capacity or total platform processing. An event or photograph can appear in more than one gallery. Drafts are excluded.

The page starts with a dated snapshot. With JavaScript available, newer counts can appear in your browser. If an update fails, the last verified figures and dates stay visible. While this tab is visible, browser refreshes are attempted on opening, every five minutes and when you return to the tab. Successful source checks are cached for 10 minutes; unavailable sources keep their previous figures. Browser updates do not change the snapshot in the published page.

What connects it all

The core of RaceLabs
is your event.

An event connects the reviewed rider or vehicle groups, your finished files and the customer galleries. The RaceLabs app prepares the shoot. Your connected website turns that work into a photo and video store.

You manage the event in RaceLabs. Customers browse your brand, your logo and your galleries, with only a discreet RaceLabs footnote on the website.

Before your first event

Bring the shoot. We’ll help you get started.

Tell us your operating system and Mac processor if applicable, your camera formats, approximate photo count and whether you include video. We’ll help you choose the installer and confirm your first-event setup.

  • Installers: Windows, macOS on Apple Silicon or Intel, and Linux AppImage. Choose the macOS DMG for your processor. The release checked on 6 September 2026 is v2.0.0-beta.11, released on 31 July 2026.
  • Photographs: JPEG and RAW formats including CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, RAF and DNG. PNG, TIFF, BMP and WebP are also accepted. Try your own camera files during setup.
  • Video: MP4, MOV, AVI and MKV containers. Include a description of your footage so we can confirm the workflow for your codecs.

Keep a separate backup of your originals. Install the app, sign in, add an event and your files, then prepare and upload lightweight previews for cloud analysis. This stage needs an internet connection; your full-resolution originals stay on your disk. Review the groups, finish your edits, then save folders or upload and publish to your connected store.

Photo sorting rates

Your first sorting event is free. The standard photo schedule uses the marginal volume bands below: each rate applies to photographs within its band, rather than repricing all earlier photographs.

Standard photo sorting bands
Cumulative photographsPrice per photo in that band
First 50,000€0.010
50,001–100,000€0.008
100,001–150,000€0.006
150,001–200,000€0.005
Above 200,000€0.004

At the entry rate, 5,000 photos cost €50 for photo sorting. Your event quote confirms the starting volume, applicable rates and any video work. Customer-specific pricing can differ. Tell us your file mix and volume so we can agree the quote and first-event scope.

Sort the shoot. Review the collections.

Add your event photos and let RaceLabs group them by rider or vehicle. Rider, vehicle or kart/driver signatures help connect different views, including photographs where the number is hidden. Lightweight previews are processed in the cloud; your full-resolution originals stay on your disk during sorting.

Review the groups, merge split sets and reassign any wrong matches. Uncertain photographs stay available for your decision. For shared cars or karts, confirm the driver using session or stint information before naming a personal gallery. Save the reviewed collections as ordinary folders for the next step.

In your editing workflow

Keep your edit. Keep your quality.

Choose the frames you want to sell and finish your edits. RaceLabs works with RAW and JPEG files for sorting, and your organised folders fit into the tools you already use.

For Lightroom Classic users, the RaceLabs export plugin sends finished JPEGs directly into the event. Prepare and review your photos and video clips before publishing them to the customer gallery.

What to check when choosing motorcycle sorting software

From the app to your website

Upload. Publish. Ready to sell.

Upload your finished photos and videos to your connected RaceLabs website. Review the event, then publish it when it is ready for customers. Uploading prepares the gallery; publication makes it available to buy.

The website accepts full-resolution photos and videos. Your own name, logo and watermark lead the experience, with only a discreet RaceLabs footnote.

Customers find their set.
Your brand makes the sale.

Customers find their event, browse their reviewed rider or vehicle collection and choose photos, videos or a combined package. Watermarked previews help them choose; once payment is confirmed, they can download the files they purchased.

We support Stripe and direct Redsys integrations for card and Bizum payments. SensaPhoto’s store already uses Redsys and Bizum. The payment setup connects to the gallery and purchased-file delivery.

RaceLabs takes 0% sales commission on photo and video sales. Payment-provider fees still apply. Website setup, app usage and personalised work are separate charges; exceptional storage beyond reasonable use is charged per TB at market price.

How to sell trackday photos on your own website

Put the pieces together

One workflow.
Your questions.

Start with the sorting app or with the website you want to sell through.

What is RaceLabs?

RaceLabs connects motorsport photo sorting with event delivery. The app groups your shoot by rider or vehicle for review and editing. Shared cars and karts need confirmed session or stint information before a group is labelled for a driver. An optional connected photographer website lets you publish those photos and videos for customers to buy under your own brand.

Do I need a RaceLabs website to use the app?

No. The app saves ordinary grouped folders on your disk, which you can use with your existing editing and delivery tools. A connected RaceLabs website adds the upload, gallery, checkout and download workflow described here.

Can I start by getting a website?

Yes. Become a RaceLabs partner and we will help connect your photographer website to the app. The base website template starts at €500 and includes full-resolution photos and videos. Personalised work is quoted separately.

How does Lightroom connect to RaceLabs?

You can continue editing the local files in Lightroom. The RaceLabs Lightroom Classic export plugin also uploads finished JPEGs into your RaceLabs event, ready for the next publishing step. This connects your editing workflow to your online gallery.

Which computers can use the desktop app?

RaceLabs builds installers for Windows, macOS on Apple Silicon and Intel, and Linux. Request the installer for your operating system and architecture. Tell us your OS version, Mac processor if applicable, and camera formats so we can help you choose the installer and confirm your setup.

What does photo sorting cost?

Your first sorting event is free. Standard marginal rates are €0.010 per photo for the first 50,000 cumulative photos, €0.008 for 50,001–100,000, €0.006 for 100,001–150,000, €0.005 for 150,001–200,000 and €0.004 above 200,000. Each rate applies within its band. Your event quote confirms the starting volume, applicable customer rate and any video work. Website setup and sales-related costs are separate.

What will my customers see?

Customers see your photographer website, event galleries, photo and video offers, checkout and downloads. The website uses your branding, with only a discreet RaceLabs footnote.

Does RaceLabs take a percentage of customer sales?

RaceLabs takes 0% sales commission on your photo and video sales. Payment-provider fees still apply. App usage, website setup and personalised work are separate charges. Website storage covers reasonable use; exceptionally high usage beyond reasonable use is charged per TB at market price.
